RESCUE COURSE AT BOMBA CYBERJAYA28/05/2022

The General Aviation committee will organise a private session on a Rescue Course at Bomba Cyberjaya. This course will be attended by local air sports players. The course focuses on the proper response to an accident and how to respond to an accident while waiting for an ambulance. The lesson begins with an overview of first aid and the tools that go with it. The class then moved on to a demonstration and practice of the bandage and the proper way to carry a patient with and without a stretcher. The course will also provide a guide to safely climb and rescue a person from a high place such as a tree. 


FIRST AID COURSE11/08/2022

When someone is hurt or sick, the term “first aid” refers to the emergency or “urgent care” that can be given until professional medical help arrives. The care of first aid may be sufficient for minor conditions. Prior to accessing more advanced care, first aid should be continued in the event of an emergency. The ability to save a person’s life depends on their ability to provide appropriate first aid. The General Aviation committee will organise a private session of the first aid course with the help of Angkatan Pertahanan Malaysia to gain more knowledge regarding safety and injury.


PISTON ENGINE MAINTENANCE WITH UNIKL MIAT STUDENTS

The General Aviation committee will organise a piston engine maintenance course in with collaboration UniKL MIAT to enhance UniKL MIAT student’s skills and knowledge. This unit of competency requires the application of hand skills and the use of maintenance documentation to dismantle, inspect, maintain and assemble aircraft piston engine components or parts during scheduled or unscheduled maintenance under the guidance of a qualified person. Work under the guidance of a qualified person may be performed individually or as part of a team.


MICROLIGHT INTRODUCTION WITH UNIKL MIAT

MSAF is committed to expanding the local recreational flying community while also ensuring safety. The general aviation committee will hold a talk about the introduction of microlight towards UniKL MIAT. This talk will cover how the microlight fly, maintenance, safety and licensing.  The microlight introduction aims to encourage youth to engage with light sports aircraft.


SCHOOL AIR SPORTS TOUR (SECONDARY SCHOOL)

Younger generations nowadays are our hope for the future, and they are the ones that will continue our work and passion by time. MSAF is responsible for every sport aviation activity and should also engage and become the one who will be giving exposure to our youngsters that is highly potential to be part of us in the future. With a lot of disciplines to offer and share, this platform will surely be beneficial to all of the students to take part and join the sports aviation community.
