Licensing Panel Appointment for Paragliding

Dear Members and Stakeholders,

The Malaysia Sports Aviation Federation (MSAF) is pleased to announce the formal appointment of the Paragliding Licensing Panel. This panel will play a pivotal role in upholding the integrity, safety, and credibility of the MSAF Paragliding Licensing System.

Key Responsibilities of the Panel

  • Ensure strict adherence to MSAF’s paragliding licensing standards and regulations.

  • Review and grant final approval for Solo Rating Licenses, ensuring candidates meet all safety and competency criteria.

  • Maintain transparency and accountability in the licensing process.

Approval Authority

  • Solo Rating Licenses: Require final approval by the Licensing Panel.

  • TPL (Trainee Pilot License) and PL1 (Beginner): Instructors retain full authority to approve these ratings, as per existing MSAF guidelines.
