MSAF proudly to announce that airsports (sukan udara) has been officially gazetted under the First Schedule of the Sports Development Act 576 (1997).
Airsports (Sukan Udara) as the 89th sports gazetted under KBS consist of 12 airsports which is :-
• Aeromodelling
• Akrobatik
• Base jump
• Hot air balloon
• Drones
• General aviation
• Hang gliding
• Microlights
• Parachute
• Paragliding
• Paramotor
• skydiving
All of the airsports will enjoy tax relief for sports training sessions, purchase of sports equipment, equipment rental, sports competition registration, sports facilities fees, up to RM1,000 from next year.
In order to be eligible for the tax relief for sports, the providers must be from associations, sports clubs or companies that are registered with MSAF and for coaching and training need to be by MSAF certified Instructors.
The expenses for training fees also need to be supported by payment receipts issued by Company/club /association stated airsports(sukan udara) with respective discipline.
