Paramotor
Paramotor in Malaysia started in early 2005 and has been growing to this day. We at the Paramotor Committee of MSAF will continue the efforts to uphold the vision and mission of MSAF for the future of this sport in Malaysia.
About Us
The Paramotor Committee (PM Committee) is a technical working committee that was setup under the purview of Malaysia Sports Aviation Federation (MSAF) to become the catalyst in developing paramotor sport in Malaysia.
By compiling and centralizing the documentation, references and administrations of paramotor events, training and other matters such as regulatory standards that involves the Government agencies, we aim to develop the paramotor activities in Malaysia to grow further into becoming a well-structured and widely participated sport. We are adamant in increasing the safety level of paramotor activities and ensuring that all flights are conducted according to identified safety standards.
Mission
ADVOCACY
We will interact proactively when possible and re-actively when required with agencies, organizations and individuals with healthy interests in the sport.
COMMUNICATION
We will advance the positive awareness of paragliding to the public and cultivate a culture of open communication and transparency within the community
COMMUNITY
We will promote to develop a strong bonding in the community both locally and internationally.
LEARNING
We will support continuous learning, in part by providing an organizational framework for instructors and pilots for training and certifications.
FLYING SITES
We will support and assist the development of new and existing flying sites.
SAFETY
We continue to champion the efforts to maintain a high safety standards in the sport as well as introducing more programs to further protect the interests of our members such as insurance programs.
